AcuNetx History AcuNetx, Inc. is a publicly traded Nevada corporation (OTCBB: ANTX) with headquarters and operations in Superior, Colorado, and divisional operations in Torrance, California. AcuNetx emerged in late 2005 as a combination of a small public company, Eye Dynamics, Inc., and a recent combination of two private companies, OrthoNetx, Inc., and PrivaComp, Inc.
Eye Dynamics possessed proprietary products and technologies for capturing, digital processing and analyzing human eye movements. OrthoNetx possessed an array of patented devices to mechanically induce growth of deficient bones to correct deformities throughout the body. PrivaComp had a proprietary information technology platform for device education, outcomes and adverse events reporting.
Assimilating these technologies and products, AcuNetx, the combined company, develops, manufactures and markets smart devices that address needs in three broad markets:
- Medical
- Occupational Safety
- Law Enforcement
Each AcuNetx device measures, assesses or affects human physiology to achieve its intended purpose. Most important, AcuNetx uniquely differentiates its devices from competing products by making its devices "smart" - by adding data gathering, networking and reporting features to the devices that provide customer support, product risk management, and valuable knowledge while reducing overall costs.
AcuNetx applies its SmartDevice-ConnectSM technology to the products of its three divisions:
IntelliNetx - diagnosis and rehabilitation of dizziness and vertigo.
VisioNetx - eye motion capture and processing for occupational safety and law enforcement.
OrthoNetx - correction of bone deformities with devices for distraction osteogenesis (mechanically-induced bone growth).
The U.S. market potential for existing AcuNetx product lines, all of which are patented or patent-pending, exceeds $7 billion annually. |
